Remove any doubt about reading the temperature using the child mode
The definition of fever varies according to age. In fact, the new-born and infants have a normal body temperature that is higher than that of adults. However, their external temperature is lower than for adults.
Many parents are not aware of these variations in temperature.
With the child mode, the IRT-200 algorithm offsets these differences in temperature to interpret the measured temperature for you and reassure you that you have correctly understood the result.
3-in-1 thermometer, a function for every need
With the IRT-200 infrared thermometer, you will instantly get an accurate measurement of body temperature and objects.
Ear temperature measurement
In ear mode, by removing the cap and placing the thermometer in your ear, you will be accurately measuring the temperature of members of your family from the age of 3 months.
Forehead temperature measurement
In forehead mode, by placing the thermometer at a distance of 1 to 3 centimetres from your forehead, you will be measuring temperature by avoiding any physical contact and preventing any microbes from spreading. This mode is suitable for the whole family with no restriction on age.
Object temperature measurement
In object mode, you can check in just one second that your child’s food, milk or bath water is at the right temperature to prevent any risk of burning.
Very easy to use
The memory function, which records the last 20 measurements, means that you can control the change in temperature in time.
Results are quick and easy to read using a colour coded display
The sound and visual fever alarm make it easier to read the results. Temperatures are measured in 1 second and displayed instantly on the colour-coded screen.
The backlit screen makes it easier to use at night when your child is sleeping and the silent mode is perfect for taking your child’s or baby’s temperature without having to wake them up.
Your attention remains focused on your child since it switches off automatically after ten seconds or so of inactivity.
