When Should You Replace Your Hydrojet Nozzle?

To maintain optimal oral hygiene and ensure the best performance of your dental water jet, it is recommended to replace the nozzle every 3 to 6 months:

• Every 3 months for daily use or if the device is shared (with individual nozzles).
• Every 6 months for occasional use.

Over time, mineral deposits, bacteria, and limescale can build up inside the nozzle, reducing water pressure and compromising cleanliness. Regular replacement helps prevent bacterial growth and ensures effective plaque removal.

For best results, rinse the nozzle with hot water after each use and soak it weekly in diluted white vinegar or an alcohol-free mouthwash. Remember: never share your nozzle with others to avoid cross-contamination.
